2019 Career Day

Learning involves a deliberate application of information, imagination and initiative in deriving greater or different values from resources. This includes all processes by which new ideas are generated and converted into useful products. The 2019 Career Day tagged: “Learning: Innovation for Impact” is a platform for empathizing with the feelings and perspectives of others as a foundation for good communication, teamwork, and strong leadership no matter the path these young people follow or the job they undertake in the future. In a generation characterized by connectivity and change, the decision of one person can have ripple effects through communities and cultures. Therefore, we want to motivate young people to build something better together and help us do so with imagination and respect; guided by deep understand for the people and the world around us. Our goal is to create a generation of ethical leaders who are dedicated to community change by fostering a commitment to service and activism through performance, exhibition and programming. We are expecting a total of 880 participants from 40 schools in November.

I invite you to partner with us in this skills sharpening and lives strengthening project. We are open to suggestions and new ideas, you can share your success story during the event, you can donate a trophy, you can donate motivational books/videos etc. Your commitment is critical in our quest of changing our society and the world in general. You can inbox me today for participation details. If we don’t all win, we all lose!

Citizenship Education

We are living in a generation where “fake news” has created boundaries between friends, colleagues and humanity. While celebrating technology’s easy access to information, we are faced with the rise of malicious actors sowing seeds of disinformation. My godly counsel to you today, ‘Once you get your power, support others to get theirs. If we don’t all win, we all lose’.

Citizenship Education

A good story is like a compass, it points to something true and invites us to orient our own direction according to it and perhaps to live a little better. This is what the chairman of our management team @John Elisha Bahago represents. The impact of John as a leader and a person on our programs and volunteers can be unfathomable. He is just a blessing to #HopeBuilders.

Citizenship Education

Remember your birth, how your mother struggled to give you form and breathe. You are evidence of her life, and her mother’s, and hers. Remember your father. He is your life also. Remember the earth whose skin you are: red earth, black earth, yellow earth, white earth, brown earth, we are earth. Remember we are all people and all people are you. Remember we are this universe and this universe is you. Remember what goes around comes around. Do unto others what you want others to do to you.

Hope Builders

We enrich lives by building supportive environments that inspire excellence. We celebrate excellence in service to humanity. We celebrate outstanding dedication and performance of professionals. Do you have a dream of changemaking? Do you want to invest in the rural poor in Nigeria? We have a platform just for you.

Self-Confidence

The natural tendency of all human behavior is toward the path of least resistance. When you resist this tendency, you become stronger and more powerful. Persisting through lesser difficulties builds your capacity to persist through greater difficulties, and achieve even greater things.
